The KC501 Key & chip programmer is powerful in functions and fashionable in appearance. It can not only read, write keys, and read key remote frequency, but also generate dealer keys. It supports read and writing MCU/EEPROM chips, read and write Mercedes Infrared keys. Moreover, it supports a PC connection which brings you a better user experience.

The AutoProPAD G2 comes with the same Quad-Core ARM Cortex-A17 1.8GHz Processor and memory as the G2 Turbo but with a slightly smaller battery and screen size. It also does not have an RJ45 (CAT6) ethernet port and only comes with OBD2-16 adapter. EEPROM cabailities are basic (SOIC8/DIP8, No Euro) and vehicle interface is only hardwired OBD. The G2 almost looks like a completely new machine compared to its predecessor and AutoProPad has made sure that the hardware is able to keep up with emerging security technologies.

When your subscription ends, you can continue to use your unit like normal, but any new updates will not be available to download. Also, on-the-vehicle technical support is only available to users with an active subscription. Please note that when your subscription ends, you have 30 days to renew your subscription. If you fall outside of a subscription for more than 30 days, if you decide to renew again, you will be charged a $150 reactivation fee. At $600/year, or $50/month, it's silly to not just keep your subscription active.
