Detex EAX-500 - Exit Alarm - Surface Mounted - Black

This Detex EAX-500 is an exit alarm for use on applications where an audible means of alerting authority of an unwarranted exit is necessary. The alarm can only be silenced by using a key.

1-1/8” Mortise Cylinder required with standard Yale cam to turn on alarm or off, not included.

• Alarm accepts 5, 6 and 7 pin standard and interchangeable core mortise cylinders with a standard Yale cam.
• Mortise cylinder key-switch arming
• Manual arming, disarming and rearming
• LED visual arming indicators
• Audible arming indicators
• Extended bypass allows alarm to remain bypassed when door is open and automatically rearm upon door closing
• Field selectable 2-minute auto rearm
• Field selectable status indicators
• Includes a red "Emergency Exit - Alarm will Sound" stick-on decal for the door
